Conservative States

What is the difference between the State and State + Congress plans?

State covers your state legislature; State + Congress adds the U.S. Congress, viewed one at a time with a switch.

There are two plans.

State: $12 a month or $90 a year. Everything for your own state legislature: browsing and following its bills, the hearing calendar, AI analyses, your state legislators and letters to them.

State + Congress: $19 a month or $139 a year. Everything in State, plus the U.S. Congress: its bills, its committee meetings, your U.S. Representative and two U.S. Senators, and letters to them.

How State + Congress works

You look at one place at a time: your state or the U.S. Congress. A switch moves the whole app between them, including Home, the bill lists, the calendar and your legislators. See the article on switching between your state and U.S. Congress.

Notifications do not depend on which one you are looking at. A followed Congress bill still sends you updates while you are viewing your state, and the other way around.

Adding Congress to a State plan

  • Website: Settings, then Subscription, then Add Congress.
  • App: Settings, then Subscription, then Add U.S. Congress. This opens our billing page in a browser.

The change happens in your secure billing page, where you switch your plan. You do not need a new subscription.

If you move from State + Congress back to State, the app returns to your state the next time it refreshes, and Congress bills you followed stay saved for when you add Congress again.
