The app will not load, shows an error, or asks me to update

Try these first

1. Check your internet connection. If the app cannot reach us, it shows a message and a Try again button. Your sign-in is kept, so you do not need your password once you are back online.
2. Close the app fully and open it again.
3. Update the app from the App Store or Google Play.
4. Sign out and sign back in from Settings, under Account.

"A newer version of Conservative States is required"

We occasionally need everyone on a recent version. Open the App Store or Google Play, update Conservative States, and open it again. Turning on automatic updates in your phone's store settings avoids this.

"You were signed out" or "Your session expired"

This happens after a long time away, after you reset your password, or when someone used Log out all other devices. Sign in again.

"This account is already signed in on another phone"

Your account can be signed in on one phone at a time. Tap Sign out there to move it to this phone. See the article on devices and sessions.

A letter will not open in my mail app

On iPhone, letters open in the mail app you chose as your default in your phone's settings. If you have no mail app set up, connect Gmail or Outlook in Settings under Sending email instead.
