How many analyses can I run, and how accurate is the AI?

Each account can run 100 analyses in any 12 months, plus one free refinement per bill; always check AI output against the bill.

Limits

  • 100 analyses in any rolling 12-month period. The count of analyses remaining is shown on the analysis area of a bill's page and on the Bill Analyses page.
  • One refinement per bill, which does not count toward the 100. After it is used, the page says "Refinement used for this bill".
  • Re-running an out-of-date analysis, after a bill was substantially amended, counts as a new analysis.

Short summaries and categories are written for every bill automatically and do not count toward your limit.

Analyses and letters are part of the subscription. If your subscription has ended, you will be asked to renew before generating one.

How accurate is it?

The AI reads the bill's own text, and the analysis is a useful starting point. But AI can misread a bill, miss how it interacts with other laws, or describe something with more confidence than it deserves. That is why each analysis ends with The honest caveat, and why the page says "AI-generated · always verify against the bill text".

Before you act on an analysis, or quote it to a legislator:

  1. Open Bill text and check the sections that matter to you.
  2. Check the bill's latest version and adopted amendments. An analysis of the bill as filed can be out of date.
  3. Remember the recommendation is our opinion from a conservative perspective, not legal advice and not a statement from any government body.

If an analysis gets something clearly wrong, email us the bill number and what you found.
