How do I sign in with Face ID, Touch ID or my fingerprint?
Turn on biometric sign-in in the app's Settings to open the app without typing your password.
The app can use your phone's Face ID, Touch ID or fingerprint unlock instead of your password.
Turning it on
- Open Settings (tap your initials on Home, then Settings).
- Under Security, switch on Face ID, Touch ID or your phone's biometric option. The name matches what your phone has.
- Confirm with your face or finger once. If it is not recognized, nothing changes.
From then on, the app asks for your face or fingerprint when it opens.
Signing out with biometric sign-in on
When you sign out, the app asks how:
- Sign out keeps this device ready, so you can sign back in with your face or fingerprint.
- Sign out and forget device means your password is needed next time. Use this on a phone you are selling, giving away or sharing.
If it stops working
If you remove Face ID or fingerprints from your phone, the app asks for your password instead. Sign in with your password, then turn biometric sign-in back on in Settings.
Biometric sign-in does not replace two-factor authentication on the website.
