Conservative States

How do I find and group supporters on the Supporters page?

Search, filters, saved segments, tags and the map and district views on the Supporters page.

Open Supporters in the left navigation. The top of the page shows how many supporters you have in total and how many joined this month.

Three views

Use the buttons at the top right to switch views:

  • List shows supporters in a table. This is where search, filters, segments and tags work.
  • Map shows how many supporters live in each legislative district.
  • Districts shows the same counts as a table, with supporters, highly engaged supporters and actions in the last 30 days for each district.

In the Map and Districts views, select a district to see its numbers and its most active supporters. A Send alert to button starts a new alert aimed at that district.

The table

Each row shows the supporter's name and contact details, their districts, their engagement, how many actions they have taken, their tags and when they were last active. Click Engagement, Actions or Last Active to sort. Click a row to open that supporter's page.

Engagement is a score from 0 to 100, shown as High, Med or Low. It goes up with the number of actions a supporter has taken, gets a boost if they acted recently or opted in to your alerts, and drops if they have not acted in about six months. It is worked out fresh each time you look, so it changes as time passes.

Search

Type in the box that says Search by name, email, phone… The list updates as you type.

Filters

Click Add filter to narrow the list. You can filter by:

  • Engagement: High, Med or Low
  • Status: Active, Inactive or Unsubscribed
  • District: any district where you have supporters, grouped by chamber
  • Took action on bill: supporters who wrote about a specific bill
  • Took action on issue: supporters who acted on any bill in one of your shared Issue Portfolios
  • Has a phone number
  • Opted in to updates

Each filter you add appears above the list. Click the x next to it to remove it.

Segments

A segment is a saved set of filters. The Saved segments list on the left starts with three that are always there:

  • All supporters
  • Highly engaged
  • Phone provided

To save your own, set up the search and filters you want and click Save as segment, or click New segment in the left column. Give it a name. Saved segments are shared with everyone on your team, and each shows a live count. Click a segment to load it. Click the trash icon next to one you saved to delete it.

You can also load a saved segment as the audience when you write an alert.

Tags

Tags are labels you put on supporters, such as "Volunteer" or "Testified 2026".

  1. Check the box next to one or more supporters. A bar appears showing how many you selected.
  2. Click Tag, then pick an existing tag or click + New tag… to make one.

Your tags are listed under Tags in the left column. Click a tag to show only supporters who have it. Click more than one tag to show supporters who have all of them.

Removing a tag from a supporter, renaming a tag and deleting a tag are not available on this page today.

Sending an alert to selected supporters

Check the supporters you want and click Send alert to selected. The alert composer opens with just those people as the audience. See "How do I write an alert?"

Who can do what

Everyone on your team can view, search and filter supporters. Owners and Editors can save and delete segments, create tags and tag supporters.

If this does not solve it, email support@conservativestates.app and tell us your organization's name.
