Conservative States

Can I export or import supporters?

Download your supporters as a spreadsheet file, and what to do if you need to bring in a list.

Exporting

  1. Open Supporters in the left navigation.
  2. Use search, filters, a segment or tags to choose who you want. Leave everything clear to export everyone.
  3. Click Export at the top right.

Your browser downloads a CSV file named with today's date. CSV files open in Excel, Google Sheets and Numbers. The export follows whatever search and filters you have on screen, up to 50,000 supporters, sorted by last name.

The file has these columns:

  • First Name, Last Name, Email, Phone
  • Your state's lower-chamber district and upper-chamber district, named the way your state names them (a one-chamber legislature has one district column)
  • Status (active, inactive or unsubscribed)
  • Opted In (yes or no)
  • Engagement (the 0 to 100 score)
  • Actions, Last Active, Joined
  • Tags, separated by semicolons

Districts are written like HD-12 and SD-6 in every state.

Anyone on your team can export. The file holds your supporters' personal information, so store and share it with care.

Importing

There is no import button in the portal today. If you have a list of supporters from another system and want help bringing it in, email support and tell us how many people are on the list and where it came from.

If you connect a CRM through the Partner API, supporter data can flow to that system. The articles for developers cover the Partner API.

If this does not solve it, email support@conservativestates.app and tell us your organization's name.
