Conservative States

What is on a supporter's page?

The supporter page shows contact details, districts, consent, every action the person took and your team's notes.

Open Supporters in the left navigation and click any row. The supporter's page opens.

The top of the page

You see the supporter's name, email address, status (Active, Inactive or Unsubscribed) and engagement score. Below that are four numbers:

  • Total Actions: how many times they took action
  • Emails Sent: how many letters went out across all those actions (one action can write to several legislators)
  • First Action and Last Active: the dates of their first and most recent actions

Supporter details

This box shows the supporter's name, email, phone, address and whether they are opted in to email updates. Their legislative districts are listed underneath. Click View district map to see where they live and their districts on a map.

Editing a supporter

Owners and Editors see an Edit button. You can change:

  • First name, last name, email and phone
  • Street address, city, state and ZIP code (start typing and pick the full address from the list)
  • Status: Active, Inactive or Unsubscribed
  • Opted in to email updates

Click Save changes when you are done.

A few things to know:

  • The email address is the one the supporter uses to sign in, so changing it changes their sign-in too.
  • When you change the address, their districts and legislators are worked out again from the new address.
  • Only Active supporters receive alerts. Setting someone to Inactive or Unsubscribed stops your alerts to them.
  • To opt a supporter in to your alerts, you must confirm they gave you permission. A dialog called Confirm communication permission asks you to check I confirm this supporter gave permission to receive communications. before you can save.
  • If a supporter used an unsubscribe link, the checkbox is locked and the page says This supporter used an unsubscribe link. Staff cannot opt them back in.

Consent status

This box lists the supporter's consent to your Action Alerts and its date. It reads Granted, Unsubscribed or Not granted. See "What happens when a supporter unsubscribes or marks an alert as spam?"

Action history

Every action the supporter took is listed, newest first. Each entry shows what they did (for example Emailed legislator or Emailed committee), the bill number, the date, how many emails went out and to whom, and the campaign.

Each entry also shows where the letter's words came from:

  • Suggested message: they sent the letter your action page suggested
  • AI-generated: they sent a letter written for them by the AI writer
  • Edited by supporter: they changed the wording before sending

Click an entry to open the details. You see each recipient and the message that was sent. Click Compare with the original draft to see the starting draft beside the letter that went out. Older letters sent before drafts were kept show a note instead.

Team discussion

At the bottom is a comment thread for your team. Use it to leave notes about this supporter and @mention teammates. Everyone except Viewers can comment.
