What is the organization portal and where do I find it?

The organization portal is where your staff track legislation, write positions, build action pages, email supporters and run reports. It is separate from the individual Conservative States subscription that citizens use, although both run on the same bill data.

Your organization's address

Every organization has its own subdomain. If your organization is the Example Taxpayers Alliance with the short name exampletaxpayers, your address is:

exampletaxpayers.conservativestates.app

Staff sign in at that address. Your public pages, such as action pages and the supporter sign-up page, live there too. You can see your subdomain in Settings, under General. It cannot be changed from the portal. If your organization needs a different subdomain, email support@conservativestates.app.

If you open the sign-in page and see "No organization was found at this address," check the address your organization gave you for typos.

What is in the portal

The left navigation has three parts.

• Dashboard is your home page.
• Bill Tracking holds AI Analyst, Browse Bills, Tracked Bills, Amendment Packets, Notifications and Reports.
• Administration holds Issue Portfolios, Campaigns, Supporters, Legislators, Analytics, Alerts and Activity.

Settings and My email digests are in the menu under your name in the top right corner, along with Sign out. The bottom of the left navigation shows your organization's Licensed State, the state legislature your organization covers.

Some items depend on your role. For example, Viewers do not see AI Analyst. See the article on roles for what each role can do.

Where to start

1. Sign in and set up two-factor authentication. See the article on signing in.
2. If you are an Owner, add your logo and colors in Settings, under Branding, and invite your team in Team & access.
3. Find the bills you care about in Browse Bills and track them.
4. Build a campaign and an action page when you are ready to ask supporters to act.
