How do I set our logo, colors and organization details?

Owners set the organization's display name and contact details under General, and its logo, colors and default wording under Branding.

Your logo, colors and default wording appear on your public action pages, your supporter sign-up and sign-in pages, and supporter emails. Only an Owner can change them. Other roles can open these pages and see the current values.

Open the menu under your name in the top right corner and choose Settings.

General: your organization's details

In General, under Organization profile:

  • Display name is the name supporters see in emails and on action pages. If you leave it blank, your organization's registered name is used.
  • Subdomain is your organization's web address. It cannot be changed here.
  • Contact email, Phone and Website are your organization's main contact details.

Choose Save changes when you are done.

Branding: logo and colors

In Branding, under Appearance:

  • Logo. Choose Upload, or Replace if you already have one, and pick a PNG, JPEG, WebP or SVG file. The logo saves as soon as it uploads. It appears on action pages, emails, the public header and the top of the staff portal's left navigation. A wide logo with a transparent background looks best.
  • Primary color. Used for buttons, accents and highlights on your action pages. Pick it with the color box or type a hex value such as #1f3a5f.
  • Secondary color. A second accent color.

Branding: default wording

Under Default copy:

  • Header text appears near the top of your action pages.
  • Footer text appears at the bottom of your public pages. + Insert © adds a copyright line with the current year.
  • Disclaimer text is for any legal or "paid for by" wording your organization needs. It appears on your action pages.
  • Default CTA text is the wording of the main button on an action page when that page does not set its own. If you leave it blank, the button says "Take Action".

Choose Save changes to save the colors and wording.

Alert emails have their own design

The look of alert emails sent to supporters is set in Alert email design. By default it uses your Branding logo and colors. See the article on alert email design.

If this does not solve it, email support@conservativestates.app and tell us your organization's name.
