Is there a mobile app, and how do subscriptions work in it?

Conservative States has apps for iPhone, iPad and Android that use your subscriber account; subscriptions are bought on the website, not through the app stores.

The apps

The Conservative States app is available on the App Store for iPhone and iPad and on Google Play for Android. It is made for subscribers: follow bills, read analyses, see your legislators and how they vote, get hearing reminders and alerts, and send letters.

One account covers the website and the apps. Sign in with the same email address and password everywhere, and your followed bills, letters and settings come with you. You can turn on Face ID, Touch ID or fingerprint sign-in, and two-factor authentication works in the app too.

Subscriptions are bought on the website

The app does not sell subscriptions, and they are not charged through Apple or Google. If you start a subscription from the app, it opens our website to finish checkout, then brings you back. Because of this, your subscription will not appear in your Apple or Google subscription lists. To change your plan, update your card or cancel, use Billing in Settings on the website, or open it from Settings in the app.

Deleting the app from your phone does not cancel your subscription or delete your account.

Supporters and organization staff

If you signed up on an advocacy organization's page, keep using that organization's pages in your phone's web browser; they work on any phone. Organization staff use the organization's staff pages on the web.

Phones and tablets

One account can be signed in on 1 phone and 1 tablet at the same time, besides web browsers. If you sign in on a second phone, you will see "This account is already signed in on another phone. Sign out there, or replace it with this device."

Store listings

The listings describe Conservative States as an independent, privately operated service. It is not a government app; our sources page links to every legislature's official website.

If the app is not working

Check that your phone has an internet connection.
Close the app fully and open it again.
Install the latest version from the App Store or Google Play.
Sign out and sign back in from Settings.

If it still fails, email support@conservativestates.app with your phone model, its operating system version and the app version shown at the bottom of Settings.
