How do I delete my supporter account or my data?

Stopping emails is not the same as deleting

If you only want an organization to stop emailing you, use the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any of its emails. Your account stays in place and you can still take action on its pages.

Deleting your supporter account

Supporter dashboards do not have a delete button. Instead, email privacy@conservativestates.app from the email address on your account and ask us to delete it. Tell us whether you want:

• your whole Conservative States account deleted, which also removes your supporter records with every organization, or
• only your record with one organization removed, if you want to keep supporting others. Name the organization.

We will confirm the request with you and complete it within 30 days.

What deleting removes and what stays

Deleting your account erases your name, email address, password and street address, removes your districts and representatives, disconnects any Gmail or Outlook account you connected, and signs you out everywhere.

Some things cannot be undone:

• Letters you already sent are in the offices' inboxes, and letters sent from your connected email account are in your Sent folder there. We cannot recall them.
• Information an organization already copied into its own systems, such as its membership database, is under that organization's control. Ask the organization directly to remove it there.
• De-identified activity records, such as a log of letters sent with the recipient, bill and date, are kept without your name, email or address so that statistics stay accurate.

Your privacy in brief
