How do I become a full Conservative States subscriber?

A supporter account lets you act on the pages of the organizations you support. A Conservative States subscription is a separate, paid service for following your whole legislature yourself: every bill in your state, plain-English analysis of each one, alerts when the bills you follow move, hearing reminders, letters on any bill, and the iPhone and Android apps.

You never need a subscription to take action with an organization.

Seeing what a subscription adds

On your supporter pages, choose Go further at the bottom of the left-hand menu, or See what's included on one of the Go further cards. The page that opens is about you:

• How many actions you have taken with the organization, how many bills are before your state's legislature right now, how many have a hearing or vote this week, and who your legislators are.
• As a supporter you keep: acting on the organization's pages, the organization's bills, and how your legislators vote on them.
• A subscription adds: every bill in your state, plain-English analysis, hearing alerts and reminders, letters on any bill, the apps, and the U.S. Congress on the State + Congress plan.
• What happens to your account: same email address and password, your history with the organization stays, and the organization is not told that you subscribed.

Choosing a plan

Under Choose a plan, pick Annual or Monthly and one of the two plans:

• State covers your state legislature: $12 a month or $90 a year.
• State + Congress adds the U.S. Congress: $19 a month or $139 a year.

New accounts get a 14-day free trial, and the button reads Start free trial. Choose it to open checkout on the Conservative States website. Prices are shown again at checkout, and that page is the final word on them.

If you open the subscription page on the main Conservative States website directly instead, it shows the same plans, and Back to your supporter page at the top right returns you to the organization.

After you subscribe

You land on your new subscriber dashboard with a welcome note that names the organization and links back to your supporter page. Your account is now a subscriber account with the same email and password. Sign in on the main Conservative States website or in the apps.

Your supporter records with organizations stay as they were. To act on an organization's page from now on, choose Have a Conservative States subscription? Sign in with it in the action window. If you open the organization's supporter dashboard while signed in with your subscription, it shows your activity with the organization and a link to the app, with no more invitations to upgrade. If you try the supporter sign-in page instead, you will see "This account has been upgraded to a Conservative States subscription" with a Go to subscriber login button.

If your address is in a different state than the organization, your subscription follows your address.

Subscriptions are bought on the website, not through the App Store or Google Play. To change plans, update your card or cancel, use Billing in your subscriber Settings.
